Unseen Side of information Technology
I got a great opportunity to do a seminar for Dhamma School students about the above topic. I consider this opportunity is great for both the students and myself because the students get knowledge about IT and related topics plus I could improve myself on public speaking. This article is the summery of the seminar.
First of all I got confused about the topic “ The unseen side of Information Technology ”. At first glance my mind was full of thoughts like: This might be the dark side of IT, attacks, viruses, data privacy etc. At the same time I got the feeling that this might be also about the hidden chemistry of IT where we can show the things can be done with IT and it’s good for the students who have taken this in a wrong way or for the student who have no idea.
So I prepare myself for both aspects.

before explaining above topics I started explaining of IT. I mean what is IT and its very basic introduction. Also I explained the Input, Process, Output diagram which is the main process of the computer system.
“By definition, information technology is the use of systems, specifically computers, and telecommunications, for storing, retrieving and sending information.”
This era we are living in, the information technology is now a part of our everyday lives. IT has a huge impact in our society. Changing things is the normal behavior of everything. This technology is changing rapidly where we don’t even aware about the changes. True story is that many people have yet to realize how rapid the current digital revolution is.
